The shredded piece of string that has held Joanie Nelson’s life together breaks when her husband is offered a job out of state in Garden Valley. While clinging to the schedule that has done nothing to tame her boys, Joanie must come face-to-face with the six-letter word she has long avoided: ‘change.’ Joanie loses the tug-of-war and is dragged into the unfamiliar territory of Garden Valley to start a new life.
